Looking Through the Trees

I took a couple shots looking straight up through the trees in Northern Ontario, Canada. On a bright sunny day, the details of the leaves and branches really shine. I kept the f-stop around 4.5 - 5.0 since there was no background (other than blue sky) to blur.

Canon 20D, 28-200 mm, f3.5 - 5.6

Photo equipment "snobs" believe you can't get great photos with anything but L-Series glass. It looks like your Canon 28-100 f3.5 - 5.6 did a fairly good job with this photo, however

Must be the photographer behind the lens....ha ha. Actually, I'm finding that beautiful nature shots are difficult to screw-up. L Series is clearly the choice for sports action....no exceptions.
