I have decided that camera settings really don't matter when shooting fireworks. The reason is because the lighting changes instantly from bright to dark, so speed is all that counts. Just hold the shutter down and let it rip.

Well the results are in.....with an overwhelming response to the "Easiest Sport to Photograph" survey, BASEBALL was the big winner with 57% of the vote. I would also agree by the way.....it's a slower sport giving you plenty of time to react and get into position. The biggest challenge I've found is location on the field. Knowing the coach is helpful so you can walk in and out of the dugout and also sit inside the fence line.

I really lucked out on this one....just happened to be along third base line when the action took place. I was using my Canon Mark II with a 300mm f2.8 lens (ISO 400, 1/8000 shutter speed).
