B-ball photography, landscape vs. portrait

I normally shoot in portrait mode for basketball since the game is played vertically, but every now and then I shot landscape. Take a look at all of the photos.

50D and Basketball

Canon 50D with an 85mm f1.8 lens works well for basketball. The 50D ISO performance is much improved over my older 20D. I shot these at ISO 1600, f1.8, and 1/640 shutter.
