University of Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame.....a great place to take pictures. Similar to shooting sports, I leave my Canon 50D in Av mode, keep the f-stop at 2.8 to maximize the depth of field, then manage the shutter speed according to the amount of sun light.

Capture every aspect of the game. I shot these with my Canon 50D and walk around lens, 28-135mm. I set the camera in Av mode while keeping the shutter speed close to 1/1200 plus.

Narrow Crop

Sometimes I like to crop my shots a bit more extreme than the standard 4x6 ratio. Since the action in these shots were completely vertical, I tried a narrow crop to elongate the picture.
