Canon 50D - capturing the action
I like this shot because I was fortunate enough to capture the side line referee signaling to the player that he is good to go for the goal...hence no offsides. Canon 50D, Canon 300mmf2.8, ISO 640, 1/2000 shutter speed.

Soccer Champions
Spring soccer has begun....River Plate U16 Boys win the Louisville, KY soccer tournament. I used both my Canon Mark II and Canon 50D cameras with a 70-200mm f2.8 and 300mm f2.8 lenses, respectively. I shot in aperature priority mode at 1/5000 shutter speed. Below are a few shots:
